Number Ten is a two storey, Grade 11 listed, Weavers Cottage situated high on the hills in Bradford with stunning views over the town, the White Horse and beyond. It has unique pedestrian access only through the terrace of idyllic houses. You have your own key. The best way to explore our town is on foot and the train station is a mere 6 minutes walk away, the World Heritage Site of Bath is just 15 minutes away. This south facing room has full sun and superb views. This is a quiet area with very little background noise. This spacious room is on the top floor and is a good size with double bed, washbasin, natural wood floor; it is light and airy with large sash windows. Sole use bathroom is on next landing. Occupants have the use of the top floor of the house, a tranquil and spacious adjacent sitting room for their use only (see images)......THIS IS ROOM ONLY ACCOMODATION.... A small fridge, fresh coffee, loose tea and orange juice etc are available in the sitting room at all times. Towelling robes available. The town itself has many attractions and plenty of gorgeous eateries and independent shops. The Fat Fowl(Chubby Chook) a short walk away does wonderful breakfasts, and you wouldn't want to miss The Ale & Porter Continental French Patisserie.(No Sunday/Monday opening) We have an Ancient Town Bridge, a Tithe Barn and a Saxon Church, boat trips and bicycle hire nearby with a canal and a river 5 mins away.Walking to Bath via the canal/river is a healthy option and its very beautiful. It's a bustling little place perfect for a break. The Shambles and surrounding streets have many eateries, pubs and coffee shop and in ice cream parlour! These are a few of nearby attractions. I use environmental products for cleaning and no sprays/aerosols/air fresheners are used; just fresh air.
Parking on the hillside is very restricted so if you are travelling by car you must be aware that although we have a car park adjacent to Middle Rank it is for ALL the residents and can be full- it can also be empty!- its very random. If you need to contact me before booking about this - please do and I will send you suggestions. Its very easy to get to BOA by train! Preferably tolerant of small, chatty, grey cat!
